About Servus Mzansi.
My name is Christopher Kock, and at 19, I moved out of my parents’ house!
I created Servus Mzansi to give like-minded individuals the necessary tools for starting their lives in Germany.
I know how challenging it is navigating various application procedures in Germany, and Servus Mzansi aims to simplify them.
Why even consider Germany?
Youth Unemployment in South Africa still at an all-time-high!
The percentage of young people actively looking for employment but unable to find it rose from 36,8% in 2014 to an alarming 45,5% in 2024.
South Africa is dangerously close to letting half of its youth go without a job in the coming years. The sense of hopelessness rises for many young South Africans.

Over 60,000 jobs left unfilled in Germany!
In 2024 exactly 69,000 Ausbildungsstellen (vocational-training positions) were left unfilled.
There were above-average recruitment difficulties in the IHK (Chamber of Industry and Commerce sector), in sales, in road haulage and also in industrial food and metal occupations. Around 42,000 IHK Ausbildungstellen were unfilled.

Study completely self-sufficiently, and that without a Blocked Account!
A Duales Studium (dual study program) in Germany is a unique educational pathway that combines academic study at a university or university of applied sciences with practical training at a company.
Work and Study: Students split their time between classroom learning and hands-on work experience in a company, typically in fields like business, engineering, IT, or healthcare.
Degree: Upon completion, students earn a Bachelor’s degree or other relevant qualifications, with both academic and practical experience.
Paid Training: Many dual study programs offer a salary from the company during the practical phases.
Depending on your salary, you can even use your work contract as proof of financial means, when applying for your Visa. Completely bypassing the need for a blocked account!
It’s a great option for young people looking for a direct path to a career, and those who are struggling to fund their studies.
